Welcome to the astleyhomeinteriors.co.uk website terms and conditions for use.

By using or accessing this website and/or placing any order(s), you agree to be legally bound by these terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. All other terms and conditions, including those proposed in any order submitted by you, are expressly excluded and shall have no effect.

 

These terms relate to sales over the Internet only. Separate terms and conditions apply to purchases made directly from our store.

Contractual Capacity

In order to be eligible to enter into a contract with us to purchase goods through the website, you must provide the required information including your real name, payment details including your card address, your delivery address (if different from your card address), email address, and telephone number, and must be over the age of 18.

Accuracy of Content

Astley Home Interiors has taken every care in preparing the content of this website, particularly to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and that all products have been fairly described.

All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT. Orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website.

Colours and Finishes

Photographs displayed on our website and display models or samples in our store are representative of the finished product. Whilst every effort will be made to match all colours and finishes, goods are supplied with the understanding that there may be slight dye, shade, and grain variations, particularly with natural products such as wood and leather.

 

Leather products are made from quality hides and may not be uniform in colour or texture and will show natural marks and scars.

Colours displayed on your screen may differ slightly from the actual product due to monitor and printer settings. Exact colour samples can be viewed in store.

Size and Description of Product

All sizes quoted are approximate. Size and product descriptions are given in good faith based on supplier information. Products are manufactured within industry-standard tolerances.

Variation in Product Specification

Due to changes in raw materials, legislation, or safety requirements, some products may have minor technical alterations differing slightly from sample or display models. Any such changes will maintain or improve product quality and performance.

Our Agreement

We will acknowledge receipt of your order(s) as soon as possible by email.

A binding agreement arises once we accept your order, at which point your credit/debit card will be charged.

Delivery & Access Details

Our delivery service is offered within Mainland UK only. Charges for deliveries outside the UK Mainland are available on request.

 

Delivery is available to the first floor only, unless otherwise arranged at the time of order (which may incur an additional charge).

Delivery may not be possible in some remote areas. If you believe your delivery address is outside Mainland UK, please contact us before placing your order.

 

We only deliver Monday to Friday, excluding public and bank holidays.

 

If you are unavailable during delivery, a re-delivery fee may apply for large furniture items. Cancellation after a failed delivery will result in the deduction of the delivery charge from your refund.

 

You must ensure that there is suitable access to your delivery address, including sufficient parking for a large delivery vehicle and access through doorways to the intended room. Any removal of doors, windows, or fixtures to gain access is your responsibility.

 

For security reasons, the payment card used for purchase must be presented upon delivery and a signature is required.

 

Astley Home Interiors will not be liable for any late or missed deliveries.

Split Deliveries

Where multiple items have been ordered, we will endeavour to deliver them together. However, separate deliveries may be required depending on supplier availability.

If you request a split delivery, an additional carriage charge may apply.

 

​

Storage

We do not have the facility to store products for extended periods.

If you cannot accept delivery within two weeks of notification of availability, a storage charge of £25 per week will apply for up to four weeks. After this period, your order will be deemed cancelled.

​

Disposal of Old Furniture

We do not offer collection or disposal of old furniture. Please ensure you retain your existing furniture until delivery is successfully completed.

Risk and Title

Ownership of products passes to you upon delivery.

 

​

Product Damage or Loss

You must note any visible packaging or product damage on the delivery note before signing. We cannot accept liability for damage reported later.

Where possible, damaged or faulty products will be repaired by an appointed restorer.

 

​

Assembly

Some products require assembly. Please follow all assembly instructions carefully. Refunds or replacements cannot be issued for incorrect installation.​

 

 

Products Not Eligible for Refund or Exchange

We cannot offer refunds or exchanges on:

 

  • Made-to-order or customised items

  • Mattresses, toppers, duvets, pillows, or sofa beds once opened (unless faulty)

Cancellations by Astley Home Interiors

We reserve the right to cancel any order if:

 

  • The item is out of stock

  • Delivery to your area is not possible

  • The product description or price contained an error

  • Payment was not authorised

  • You have not complied with our terms and conditions

 

 

Any payments made will be refunded within 30 days.

Vouchers

Voucher codes cannot be combined with other offers, exchanged for cash, or transferred.

We reserve the right to amend or cancel any promotion without notice.

Guarantee

All goods are guaranteed by the manufacturer for 12 months from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

General Care

Use all products only for their intended purpose and follow the manufacturer’s care instructions.

No responsibility will be accepted for damage caused by misuse or incorrect cleaning methods.

Links to Third Party Websites

Our website may contain links to external websites. Astley Home Interiors is not responsible for the content or availability of any third-party sites.

Damage to Your Computer

We make every effort to ensure our website is virus-free, but cannot guarantee this. Please ensure your device has appropriate antivirus protection.
